I like your idea in this poster, but I suggest filling in the arm on the left so that is goes off the page instead of just radomly stopping.
I like this design a lot. I think that you should somehow incorporate togetherness.

The picture seems kinda dark, maybe put some vibrant colors in it to get a more joyful perception. but still a good idea.
I really like the graphic you chose, but maybe change or move the black strip so it doesn't blend into the hands. Very dramatic, seems like it could be a movie poster. Noice.
